Assignment: Pre-launch--Built-in-quality Guard

You, the Pre-Launch Built-in-quality Guards, are the tip of the spear in the quest to "build quality in". As the saying goes, "you can't test quality in, you have to build it in". You are the closest to the building phase. You are, most likely, either designers or engineers aka the builders.

You will work hand-in-hand with the other members of the Quality Trio (you the Pre-launch Built-in-quality Guards, the Post-launch--built-in-quality Guards, and the Regression Reducers). Together, and only together, can our dreams of high quality be achieved.

Your toolset will focus on two things:

1. Designing in quality

   1. Be it architectural design or the complexity of the components we design with, true quality comes from how we go about designing the solution.

2. Automated / User Testing

   1. Unit testing is a great way to ensure we are building quality in.

   2. We subscribe to continuous discovery, which means we won't be pulling the car over to do a multi-week user study. But, that doesn't mean we don't do user/usability testing.
