1 : Navigating to the User Maintenance Window
In order to edit information for an Existing User as an Administrator in GoRev, first, begin by clicking on the “Users” button located in the System Management section of the Admin Toolbar.
2 : Selecting an Existing User
Once the User Management window is visible, please select the appropriate User from the Users List on your screen.
Note: If you have difficulty locating the required user, please use the Search Field present on your device to aid in your search.
3 : Utilizing the Show Inactive Feature
In the instance that the existing users account is disabled, this account will be automatically hidden from view upon opening the user management window. In order to view a disabled user account, please select the Show Inactive button in the upper left hand corner of this window.
4 : Viewing an Existing User
Next, Click on the View User button or double click on the selected users name in this window.
5 : Editing User Information
The Editing User window should, now, appear on your device. In this window, you will have the ability to edit the Users Facilities, Security Groups, or Location Access by utilizing the provided fields present in the Editing User window.
Note: All permission changes are saved immediately upon implementing the change.
6 : Resetting a User's Password
In addition to Editing Existing User Information, you, also, have the ability to Make Changes to a User’s Password, Terminate a User, and Disable a User as an Administrator in GoRev. To begin, please select the appropriate User from the Users List in the User Management window.
Next, please click on the View User button on your screen.
At this point, the Editing User window will appear on your device. As an Administrator, you have the ability to alter a User’s Password in two ways. First, you may Reset a User’s Password by clicking on the Reset Password button on your screen.
Once the Reset Password window appears on your screen, click on the Yes button in order to send a randomly generated Password to the User’s Entered Email address.
Second, you will have the ability to reset a user's password by manually setting the users password. To set a user's password, please right click on the required username from the user management window and select Set Password.
Then, enter the new password into the provided field and select the save password button present in this window.
Note: When manually setting a user's password, this password will not be automatically emailed to the user.
