Split Testing

Split testing, also known as A/B testing, is a technique employed to compare and evaluate two messaging sequences targeting the same search audience. By utilizing this strategy, we can effectively analyze the performance of different messaging approaches and make data-driven decisions for optimization and improvement.

How Does It Work?

Simply put, a split test will put half of your search results into campaign "A" and the other half into campaign "B". The steps below outline how to create a split test in Sales Connector:

Creating Campaign "A" & "B"

  1. Click on Campaigns

  1. Click on +New campaign

Click on  New campaign

  1. Add a Connector Campaign name
  2. Click on Create Connector Campaign

  1. Scroll down - Click to open Campaign "A"

  1. Click on Steps and edit copy, as desired
  2. Click on Save when finished

  1. To create Campaign "B", repeat steps 1 through 7

Adding contacts

  1. Click on Search

  1. Select the corresponding search

  1. Click on Add all new people to Connector Campaign

  1. Select both Campaign "A" and Campaign "B"
  2. Click on Add to Split Test
