Personal Windows Device Enrollment Steps

All Germain employees are provided with company-owned workstation equipment. If you do not have a company-owned workstation, please reach out to your manager to begin the equipment request process. GAP - Equipment Request Form

Personal Laptops/Desktops are not permitted in the workplace without prior approval by Germain IT or Scott Greenhalgh. These steps are meant for accessing work-resources on personal Windows devices on the employee's own time.

Enroll Windows 10/11 devices in Intune

Enroll your Windows 10/11 device in Intune to get mobile access to work or school apps, email, and Wi-Fi.

Get Company Portal

You can enroll Windows 10/11 devices through the Intune Company Portal website or app. Devices running Windows 7 or 8.1 must enroll through the Company Portal website. To access Company Portal:

Enroll Windows 10, version 1607 and later device

Use Intune Company Portal to enroll devices running on Windows 10, version 1607 and later, and Windows 11.

  1. Open Company Portal and sign in with your work or school account.

  5. On the Setting up your device screen, select Go.

Sync device to fix connection problems

After enrolling, if you have trouble accessing work or school things, try syncing your device. For more information about syncing, see Sync your Windows device manually.

If asked for the mdm or MAM discovery url:

There's a known issue where the MDM URL does not populate successfully. If this happens, please copy/paste or type this in the Discovery URL field.
