Navigating Posting Workflow

Welcome to the GoRev Navigating Posting Workflow Tutorial. In this tutorial, we will focus on the process of Navigating the Posting Workflow Module in GoRev.

1 : Navigating to the Posting Workflow Module

As a GoRev User, the Posting Workflow Module will allow you to Create New Posting Workflow Items, Edit Existing Posting Workflow Items, View Posting Workflow Items, and Complete Posting Workflow Items. To begin, click on the “Posting Workflow” button present in the Billing Modules Toolbar.

2 : Utilizing the "Add" Function

At this point, the Posting Workflow Module will appear on your device. In order to Create a New Posting Workflow Item, first, begin by clicking on the “Add” button in this window.

3 : Entering a Workflow Item Description

Once the Edit Workflow Item window becomes visible, please enter a Description of the Posting Workflow Item into the corresponding field provided.

4 : Entering the Appropriate Amount

Next, please enter the appropriate monetary value into the “Amount” field in this window.

If the New Posting Workflow Item is a Patient Refund, please enter a Negative Value into this field.

5 : Uploading Workflow Documents

After entering this information, please upload the appropriate Explanation of Benefits and 835 Documents to GoRev by clicking on the “Browse” buttons in the corresponding sections of this window and uploading the appropriate PDF Files from your device.

6 : Opening the Item Status Menu

Now, in order to Define the Item Status of the Workflow Item, first, begin by clicking on the Item Status drop-down menu on your screen.

7 : Defining the Workflow Item Status

After the drop-down menu appears on your device, please select the “Ready for Posting” option from this menu to continue the creation of the New Posting Workflow Item.

8 : Saving the New Workflow Item

Once you are finished, click on the “Save” button in this window to finalize the creation of the New Posting Workflow Item.

9 : Selecting the Appropriate Workflow Item

In addition to the Creation of New Posting Workflow Items, the Posting Workflow Module will, also, allow you to Edit Existing Posting Workflow Items. To begin, please select the appropriate Posting Workflow Item from the list on your screen.

10 : Utilizing the "Edit" Function

Next, click on the “Edit” button in the Posting Workflow Toolbar.

11 : Editing and Saving the Workflow Item

At this point, the Edit Workflow Item window will appear on your device. To continue, please edit any of the information in this window that you require. Once you are finished, please save the Edited Posting Workflow Item by clicking on the “Save” button in this window.

12 : Selecting a Workflow Item to View

In addition to the modification of Existing Workflow Items, the Posting Workflow Module will, also, allow you to View Posting Workflow Items. To begin, please select the appropriate Posting Workflow Item from the list on your screen.

13 : Utilizing the "View" Function

Now, in order to View the Uploaded Document(s) of your selected Posting Workflow Item, please click on the “View” button in the Posting Workflow Toolbar.

14 : Selecting a Workflow Item to Complete

Lastly, as a GoRev User, the Posting Workflow Module will, also, allow you to Complete a Posting Workflow Item. To begin, please select the appropriate Workflow Item from the list on your device.

15 : Utilizing the "Work" Function

Next, click on the “Work” button in the Posting Workflow Toolbar.

16 : Completing the Workflow Item

At this point, the document(s) attached to the selected Posting Workflow Item and the GoRev Posting window will appear on your screen. To continue, please use the open 835 File and/or EOB to complete the fields in the Posting window, as this window will allow you to Post information to the Patient’s Account.

After you have completed the necessary tasks for the Posting Workflow Item, please close the open file(s) and Posting window.

17 : Understanding the Status Change of the Workflow Item

While Viewing a Posting Workflow Item will not cause the item to disappear from the Posting Workflow Item list, using the Work function to Complete a Posting Workflow Item will cause the Item Status to change from “Ready for Posting” to “In Progress”.

As a result, the selected Workflow Item will no longer be present on your screen.

18 : Opening the Show Menu

Now, in order to View the selected Posting Workflow Item, first, begin by clicking on the “Show” button in the Posting Workflow window.

19 : Selecting the "In Progress" Option

Once the drop-down menu becomes visible, please select the “In Progress” option from the list to view the Selected Posting Workflow Item.

20 : Utilizing Other Show Menu Options

Lastly, if you would like to view a list of Completed Workflow Items, a list of Workflow Items that are On Hold, or a list of Posting Workflow Items that are Waiting for Documentation, please use the corresponding options from the Show drop-down menu present on your device to complete this task.
