Visit Tagging

As of GoRev 2024.06.03 we now support attaching any number of tags to each patient visit. This visit tagging system can be used to facilitate more robust analytics along with enhanced registration and RCM processes.


Configuring Visit tagging

Permissions

Users will need to be granted one of two permissions in order to utilize the new visit tagging system.

Visit Tagging = This permission will allow a user to add visit tags to a visit. They will not be able to delete any visit tags including ones they've attached themselves.

Visit Tagging Admin = This permission allows a user to both add and delete visit tags

Adding New Visit Tag Options

To add selectable visit tag options you must add them to the Visit Tags look up list. A guide on the overall lookup list module can be found here: Lookup Tables

Access the Visit Tags list as shown below and click New Item to add new tags or click Edit Item to edit existing tags.

Note: Editing an existing tag will NOT edit the tag on all visits it has already been assigned to. It will only impact go forward use of the tag.

Visit Tags in Patient Overview

Visit Tags can be accessed in Patient Overview by clicking the Tags button in the top ribbon bar

From there you can instant search through available tags and hit enter or double click to add tags. Clicking the red X or hitting backspace on your keyboard will delete existing tags if you have the Visit Tagging Admin permission.

Visit Tags in Workflow

Visit tags are directly viewable within the Workflow UI just below the Visit Information section. Instant search through available tags and hit enter or double click to add tags. Clicking the red X or hitting backspace on your keyboard will delete existing tags if you have the Visit Tagging Admin permission.

The Claim Timeline will show all visit tag additions and removals

Visit Tags in Posting

Visit Tags in posting are viewable in the bottom left corner and are dynamically shown as you select each payment row

For example, when 29647-6 is highlighted it shows:

When you click on the other payment rows for 34191-3 it shows

Managing tags in posting works the same way. Instant search through available tags and hit enter or double click to add tags. Clicking the red X or hitting backspace on your keyboard will delete existing tags if you have the Visit Tagging Admin permission.

Visit Tags in GoRev Standard Reports

As of release of GoRev 2024.06.03 a new standard report will be available within the Analysis green reporting tile called Visit Tag Analysis.

This report will show claim summary level financials along with a column showing all visit tags assigned to the claim. It only shows claims where at least one visit tag has been assigned.

Tags are shown delimited by a "^" character

Instant search in the bottom right and column filtering can be used to drill down to only claims with specific visit tags
