How to Search and View a Case in the Member Portal

Before You Start

Log in to the SOCAN Member Portal
Cases you’ve submitted will appear in My Cases
You can filter cases to find them more quickly


Step 1 — Access My Cases

  1. Log in to the SOCAN Member Portal
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the homepage
  3. Locate the My Cases section (beneath My Applications)

Step 2 — Review and Filter Your Cases

  1. A list of your open cases will appear in the My Cases box
  2. To narrow the list, use the filter options at the top of the table:
    • Ticket Number
    • Title
    • Case Type
  3. Click the small arrow icons to apply or adjust filters

Filtering is helpful if you have multiple open cases.

Step 3 — Open a Case

  1. Locate the case you want to view
  2. Click the Case Number link on the left-hand side

This opens the full case, where you can review details and messages from SOCAN.

What Happens Next?

Inside an open case, you can:

  • Review case details
  • See updates or responses from SOCAN staff
  • Track the status (Active or Resolved)

All communications related to your case will appear here.
