MyPay for the web: Requests

OBJECTIVES:

MyPay is the employee portal from AllianceHCM, and this guide is meant to provide an overview of the web version of MyPay's Requests section. The Requests section is where you can submit a request to change, edit or modify many items, like updating your state taxes or withholdings or changing your direct deposit information. Some companies handle time off requests through this section. Some of your changes may have to be approved by an administrator.

This guide gives an introduction to the Requests section as seen on a laptop or desktop.

💡Good to know: Each company can set up MyPay slightly differently for its employees, so your options and views may differ from what is in this guide. Ask your manager if you have any questions about how to perform a task, and learn more about the different MyPay sections here.

Requests

Let's get started: Sign into MyPay by using the link, username and password provided to you from your administrator. You'll be taken to a Welcome Page once you've successfully logged in.

Get to Requests by clicking on the link on the left of your screen. Requests has multiple sections:

  • Make New Request

    • My Personal Information: Update your name, contact information, birth date, SSN and marital status

    • Change My Direct Deposits: Edit your existing direct deposits, end a direct deposit, or add a new direct deposit

    • Change My Dependents: Add a new dependent. You may need to add a Life Event in order to add a new dependent

    • Change My Emergency Contacts: Edit or delete existing emergency contacts or add a new emergency contact

    • Change My Federal Income Tax Withholding: Edit any federal tax withholdings or exemptions

    • Change My State Withholding: Edit any state tax withholdings or exemptions. This may not be applicable in every state

    • Send a Message to My HR Department: Write a brief message and submit it to HR. This message may also go to other AllPay administrators, such as those in Payroll

  • Recent Requests: See recent change requests you've made and what their status is (for example, have they been approved)

AllianceHCM tip: Some companies may handle time off requests through the Requests section. If this is the case, you'll see a tile and option for Request Time Off here as well, which you can click to fill out a time off request form and submit the form. You would also see any time off requests under the Recent Requests section once you've submitted them.
