This step by step guide will assume that you are familiar with the MassLynx portion of the process and will focus primarily on the interactions that GoRev has with MassLynx and the LIMMS Interface.
As seen in the image below, you can specify tests to be performed in GoRev on the Edit Lab Order screen.
would like to test on the patient, simply save the order and move on to the next one.
Now go to MassLynx and locate the LIMMS Interface button that looks like the image below.
Note: The LIMMS Interface is an optional component of the Waters system and is purchased separately from Waters. If you do not have the button, then it is likely not installed on your system.
Once you have located it, press it and you will see the LIMMS Interface screen appear.
Press the Connect to Receive button as seen in the image and the interface should change to a Listening state.
In GoRev, bring up Result Overview by clicking the button seen below.
Once on that screen, select the panel that you would like to order first.
Note: If you select multiple panels, GoRev will send multiple HL7 orders to the LIMMS Interface. This is due to a limitation in the LIMMS Interface as each order can contain only a single panel.
Send the HL7 order via the Send Order button in the ribbon at the top of Result Overview.
Lastly, select the appropriate interface and press the send button.
This will show you a small progress bar that will remain visible until the messages are complete.
Back on the LIMMS Interface screen, you should now see a message stating that the worklist generated successfully:
Now go back into MassLynx and select Import Worksheet in the File menu:
This will bring up a file browser dialog. Select the most recent worksheet with the panel that was ordered:
You should now see all of the ordered tests as well as any Blanks and QCs that are configured for your Waters integration. Process the samples like normal in MassLynx and refer to the section below for exporting results.
Once the results have processed through MassLynx, save a QLD file. This file will be used by the LIMMS Interface to send results over to GoRev. After saving, go back to the LIMMS Interface screen click the connect to send button:
Now switch to the Send Results tab and add the QLD file by clicking the Add button:
After selecting the appropriate QLD file in the file browser, click the Send Results button:
This will bring up a progress bar until the operation completes. The log will state that the results were sent:
You are now finished sending results to GoRev. Allow up to five minutes for the messages to be processed and imported and you will be able to see your results in GoRev on Result Overview and other related modules.
