Proper Ergonomics: Monitor (via Noom)

Monitor

  1. The top of your monitor should be at eye level. This can be difficult when you’re using a laptop without an external keyboard!

  2. Your monitor should also be at an arms-length away (while leaning back in your chair!)

  3. Monitors are not like TVs, their resolution is typically much higher, meaning that you don’t need to sit 3 feet away to protect your eyes. Jake Howell's motto is closer is better, because you’re more likely to lean back in your chair if the monitor is a little too close as opposed to leaning forward if the monitor is too far!
