Patient File Sharing System

This module allows you to share any file uploaded into File Management in GoRev to the Patient Portal User Manual.


Sharing Files

This functionality can be accessed by clicking the image.pngbutton to the right of File Management in Patient Overview.

Clicking Share Files opens the following UI. Select a visit from the drop down to show files for the specific visit or check the Show files for all visits checkbox. Then check the individual file(s) you want to share to the patient. Input a message to the patient and click Share.

You will receive one more confirmation prompt. Click Save to initiate the process

The patient will receive an SMS text message and an email message indicating new files have been shared to them by their provider. The logo will match whatever logo you have configured on your default location within GoRev.

Clicking either link will present the patient with an identity confirmation prompt. The patient will need to enter their first name, last name, and dob exactly as they are registered in your GoRev server. (It is not case sensitive).

Once the patient validates their identity by entering the above details and clicking confirm they are presented with the list of files shared with them and can proceed to download or view directly in the browser.

The patient can also access the files from within the patient portal

Via messaging they can see the message and click the attachment to download the file(s)
