Note Template Editor
Note templates can speed up your entry of patient overview comments, workflow/follow up comments, and laboratory specimen level and test level comments. They allow for you to create a standard set of verbiage combined with dynamic system fields which get populated off of live patient specific data when you apply the template.
Configuring Note Templates
From the Clinic Modules click into Note Templates
To setup a new template click New and then proceed to populate each required field.
Template Name = What you will see in the drop down to select and apply a template note
Permission = If you want to allow all users to use the specific note template set this as Login. Otherwise, specify a permission group such as Biller or other to restrict use to only users who have the specific permission group assigned.
Options = Check on public if you want this template shared and made accessible with more than just yourself (template notes are private to the user by default. Disabled will remove access to use the template but not permanently delete the template.
Type = This sets which module in GoRev the note template will be usable within. Setting as none will allow the note template to be used system wide.
Billing = The note templates will only be usable in the Workflow system.
Registration = The note template will only be usable in Navigating Patient Overview
Lab = The note template will only be usable in the Results Overview system.
Note Template = this is where you configure your actual note template. In the example below, we have two system fields denoted by the { and } characters. These fields will automatically populate with the respective information when the note template is applied. See further down on adding system fields
To insert a dynamic field click Insert Patient Field then search for a field. Almost all fields within GoRev are accessible. As an example, search ICN and you can add the ICN (internal claim number) for the primary, secondary, tertiary, or quaternary payer.
