Reports
Welcome to the GoRev Report Tutorial. In this tutorial, we will focus on the process of utilizing the Report Module in GoRev.
1: The GoRev Reporting Module
Click on the “Reports” icon.
Within the Reports Module:
Green tiles indicate a category of reports and will contain multiple individual reports within them.
Blue tiles indicate a single report.
Dimmed tiles indicate reports that are unavailable to the current User
Note: The window below may have more or fewer options dependent on user permissions
2: Reports Functionality
The screenshot below shows the results of a report designed to show files uploaded to Patient Accounts.
Data in Reports grids can be customized in several ways:
Sort by Column Clicking a column header will sort all rows in the table by this column. This is can be clicked again to reverse the ordering. This column being used and the direction (Ascending or Descending) of the sort is indicated by the triangle in the column header field.
Filter by Column Selecting the filter icon at the top of any column will allow you to filter the table rows to specific data entries. In this case, we want only Cash Pay or Commercial plans. All other rows will be hidden.
Filter by Search in the lower-right corner of the reports window is a search field. Typing into this field will filter the results to any entries that contain this text regardless of the column it is present in.
Rearrange Columns Clicking a column header and dragging it left or right will re-arrange the columns. The blue arrows above and below the header will appear to indicate the where column will be placed.
Remove Columns Clicking on a column header and dragging it up to the empty space above will remove this column from the report view. A large X will appear to indicate the column is to be removed.
Filters
The filters button allows a User to Clear or Save current filters as well as Load previously stored filters from My Filters.
Active Facilities
If you have multiple GoRev units in your enterprise you can easily merge their data into the same report by checking a facility on or off. This makes comparing your locations a snap. In this example, we have 3 facilities to choose from. If we select all 3 of them, the resultant report will show merged facility data identified by a “Facility” column.

Scheduled Reports
This button allows you to schedule an email delivery of this report. You can specify any number of days of the week and the time you want to report to be delivered. The GoRev server will run the report at the time you specify, package it into an encrypted password protected zip file, and email it to you.
The main Scheduled Reports window is divided into two sections. You Scheduled Reports and Reports You Have Scheduled for Others.
In this window, clicking Send Now will ignore scheduling parameters and send a selected the report immediately. You can also add a New scheduled report, Edit or Delete an existing entry.
Let's create a New Scheduled Report:
Search Field This field is an auto-search field that will allow you to select the report you wish to send.
Day Selector Let's you specify the days you want this reports sent.
Active This checkbox enables or disabled this scheduled report.
Filter Let's you filter the report in one of several ways. In this case, we selected Date Range.
Set Filter Values Will appear if you select a filter and allow you to define the filter parameter.
Automatically Adjust Date Values If, for example, a report is configured to send the past 7 days of data, this option will adjust the dates each time it sends to be the past 7 days from the date the report is generated, rather than a static date range being sent repeatedly.
Time Select the time the report is sent.
Schedule for User An instant search field to select the user the report should be sent to.
User's Report Password A custom password can be input here for decrypting the zip file. If left blank, this will be the user's GoRev password.
Refresh
Reports within GoRev are cached into server memory. This makes pulling even very large result sets very quick. (GoRev can pull 20,000 rows in < 2 seconds). These cached sets of data refresh on specific intervals that differ by custom report. For example, some may refresh every 30 seconds while some larger ones may refresh every hour. If you need live data up to this second clicking refresh will update the servers cached set of data and display it for you.
Export
This button exports a copy of the data you are viewing into an excel spreadsheet. Specify where to save on your computer and click Save.
Add to Favorites
This button will add this report to your favorites. These reports can be found on the left-side of the Main Reports page.
