Package Lockers (Incoming Packages)

How do I receive my package or shipment?

The university has implemented a new package receipt and retrieval service, Package Concierge. Package recipients will be asked to have their items shipped to their assigned locker bay location (below) and will be notified when their package arrives. Faculty and staff will receive an email to register an account in the Package Concierge Portal where they can manage their notification preferences. Refer to the Package Concierge User Guide.

Locker Bay Locations

We have installed eight (8) locker bay locations across campus. Each staff/faculty member will be assigned a specific locker bay location. Packages should be directed to the below shipping addresses unless otherwise arranged with Facilities (see Large Deliveries).

Package Pickup

Our automated package delivery solution simplifies your package delivery and pickup process into four easy steps:

Step 1

Staff or Faculty members place an online order using their assigned locker bay as their delivery location.

Step 2

Package is delivered into the locker system by the shipper selected carrier (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.).

Step 3

Staff or Faculty members receive an email notification from Package Concierge that their package is ready for pick-up

Step 4

Staff or Faculty members can retrieve their package from their assigned locker bay.
1. Touch Kiosk screen to start
2. Choose resident or other user
3. Scan barcode from email or enter their username (found in email notification)
4. Enter assigned PIN number
5. Press logout on the Kiosk touch screen

Package locker systems will be available during regular building hours.

FAQs

How do I register to use the Package Concierge?

You can register to use the Package Concierge system by following the link in the initial email you received. It will take you directly to your resident portal and just follow the instructions on the screen. Alternatively, visit the Package Concierge Portal and follow the instructions to register an account. Please contact Mail Services if you have difficulties registering.

I forgot my Username - how can I get it?

You can receive a username reminder by visiting your Package Concierge Portal and requesting a reminder and your username will be sent to your email address and/or text.

I forgot my PIN - how can I reset it?

You can reset your PIN by logging into the Package Concierge Portal and entering your username. You will receive an email with instructions on how to reset your PIN. You may also generate a PIN Reset email from the kiosk.

Can I change my name in my Package Concierge account?

Name or physical address changes must be done through our mail services department. Please contact Mail Services for assistance.

How do I change my Username, Email Address or the phone number used for my Package Concierge notifications?

To change your Username, Email Address, Phone Number or contact preferences please log in to your account in the Package Concierge Portal. After logging in, select “Resident Info” and then click on “Edit”.

How do I select if I want a text message, phone call or email notification?

Please log in to your account via the Package Concierge Portal. Go to “Resident Info” on the left. Then click on “Edit” under Resident Information. You can change your contact preferences with any combination of Email, Text Message, or Phone call.

How long can my package remain in the locker?

Packages will remain no longer than 7 days from the original notification. It is always best to retrieve packages as soon as possible! You should receive an email notification from Mail Services notifying you of the expired package. Otherwise your package will be removed and returned to the sender.

If I do not want to use the system - can you remove me from the Package Concierge?

It is possible to disable your account so you will no longer be able to have packages delivered to the Package Concierge. Please contact Mail Services.

How do I change the location of the locker bay that was assigned to me?

Please contact Mail Services to request a change of locker location.

The locker is stuck - can you open it for me?

If the locker door doesn’t open it may be because too large of a package was put in it creating pressure on the latch. Try pushing on the exterior of the locker to free the latch if you can identify the locker trying to open. If that doesn’t work – please contact facilitiesmanagement@newschool.edu for assistance.

I received a package delivery notification but when I opened the locker there was no package - what happened?

If you have opened a locker only to find it empty, it could be the carrier simply did not deliver the package. Perhaps they selected the wrong person or didn’t follow the proper process. For more information, you will need to contact the carrier company. The carrier info is in the delivery notification you received.
