VIDEO OVERVIEW:
HIGH-LEVEL SUMMARY:
Reports you can generate to email yourself various types of information from your Jones account.
What is it/does it do?
There are eight different types of reports you can run:
You can see the specific columns in each report in our notion help center here.
Specific reports on a unique vendor/tenant record can also be downloaded as described here: [How to] Download Vendor/Tenant Report
Why was it developed?
This allows our users to quickly pull reports on their compliance data and Jones user information. The vast majority of other compliance management softwares have reports as well, and in certain instances this can be the preferred way to view data instead of Jones Analytics.
What is the impact?
Jones Reports can help companies be more strategic with risk: Risk management, risk controls, view all actions taken towards their compliance, etc. We expect people to make more proactive risk management decisions around this data. Ultimately, these reports will help customers make the most out of Jones.
Recommended applications (per Product)
There are many different scenarios. Some ideas:
Use the raw compliance data from Jones for your own needs (plotting graphs or timelines)
Provide a loading dock team with lists of who is compliant and who is not
Locate duplicates amongst your data through reviewing reports
- Property managers are often drowning in information. Having a weekly cadence of scheduled reports emailed to them could be very helpful to monitor certain stats
- Many property managers have weekly meetings with their managers. Being able to schedule weekly reports to update their team on compliance during these meetings can be beneficial
Companies use these reports to see which vendors are compliant for payment purposes
Companies use these reports to track their own team members
How does this behave?
Each report can be scheduled and configured differently. Reports can be generated by property, record type, compliance status, etc. Example: you can run a report on all tenant-vendor records that are not compliant.
Known limitations/expected future needs/enhancements
As of Q4 2022, the reports are purely data on excel sheets. This data is not visually appealing, and in the future we can make these data look more presentable.
Many customers may be confused about what they can do with the data from these reports. We will be hosting a webinar in Q1 2023 to cover this. This webinar recording can be given to new clients during on-boardings.
Does it get impacted by other features?
These reports are made from live data, so every action taken within Jones will instantly update these reports
WHICH VERTICAL BENEFITS FROM IT?
Jones Reports are more likely to be used by Real Estate customers. Many of our construction customers are integrated with Procore, and use Procore for their reporting.
