Ergonomic Workstation Considerations: Area (via Noom)

Area

  1. There are three zones when it comes to your workstation:

    1. Primary zone - Your primary zone is the area that you can reach while seated, leaning back, and with your elbows completely bent (90-110 degrees). Objects in this zone should be things you’re using constantly throughout the day, including your mouse, keyboard, and of course your coffee/water!

    2. Secondary zone - You can reach things in your secondary zone if you straighten your arms, but are still leaning back. These are things that you’re using, but not too frequently. Objects like your phone, cat/dog, etc.

    3. Tertiary zone - These are things you need very seldomly. You access these things by extending your arms AND leaning forward
