What are Views?
Views are configurable system queries that return a subset of documents in the system. Your privileges dictate which views you have access to.
See more in the Perceptive Terminology.
  1. Select a search type:

    1. Public filter search: use a pre-configured search within the View. Most public filter searches prompt the user for parameters (e.g., Banner ID, First Name, Last Name) to help them find specific documents within the wider View results.

    2. Search bar: allows you to build your own search within a View's result set.

      1. Desktop Client

Search one or more fields using an expanded list of operators (e.g., is blank, is not one of, is between). After you define the search conditions you want to apply, you can group and reorder them. The search evaluates the conditions in order.

TIP: To perform another search within the same View click the 'Go' button on the right.

Search one or more fields using an expanded list of operators (e.g., is blank, is not one of, is between). After you define the search conditions you want to apply, you can group and reorder them. The search evaluates the conditions in order.

TIP: In both the Desktop Client and Experience, users can click on the 'AND' word to switch the condition to an 'OR'.

NOTE: When doing a name search please ignore the 'Name' option in the list of available fields. The 'Name' field is a unique system field and does not contain a person's name.
