Make past due payment - account - website & app

A how-to-guide to where and how a member can make a past due payment. For help getting to the billing section in the app, please reference the main Billing - account - website & app card.

👁️ Note

When a member makes a payment in their Account (Website or App) and the policy is eligible to have the cancellation rescinded, the Billing Team receives a ticket to manually handle the process.

  • During business hours that cancellation is typically rescinded within 2-3 hours.
  • When the payment is made outside of business hours the cancellation will be rescinded within the first couple hours of the next business or by end of day on Mondays if payment was made on the weekend.

Making a past due payment

A "policy payment is overdue" banner will be present on any policy screen in the account as well as in notifications - Tasks - account - website & app.

Depending on the device you are accessing your Account from, the view of the screenshots below might look different, but the information will be the same.

  1. Click Pay $X overdue
  2. Click Pay $X

⚠️Caution

When you click the Pay button you will be billed immediately with the current method of payment on file.

  1. If you need to change the payment method on file, just click the pencil/paper icon
    1. Reference the Switch payment method - account - website & app resource for additional steps on changing the method of payment
    2. Once method of payment is changed, then you can then click the Pay $X button
  2. You will receive a notice if the payment was successful or not
