Feedback
Requesting feedback allows the employee or the manager to invite additional reviewers to provide their perspective on the performance of the employee. Feedback can be requested anytime by an employee or by their manager. Solicited feedback should be regarding a specific project or function. Feedback requests should be agreed upon in advance by managers and employees
Feedback can help inform managers as they complete performance evaluations. It is an optional step in the annual review process. If provided during the review period (7/1/2023-6/30/2024) it will automatically be included in the annual review.
Feedback should be regarding a specific project/function and focused on Performance Competencies. And should help you answer these questions:
- What is expected of me?
- How well am I doing/did I do on that project?
- If I need improvement, give me specifics.
Instances it might be particularly helpful to get feedback in MyDay:
- Project based work
- Across campus partnerships
- Dotted line reporting structure
- Service based positions
- Committee work
